Firefox Security Problem – Update Now

- Image via Wikipedia
A tip of the hat to Bill Pytlovany, an old friend who had forgotten more about systems by the time I ran across him in 1986 at Q-Link, AOL’s predecessor, than I’ve learned in the 23 years since then.
Bill does lots of stuff, but I keep up with Bits from Bill, a thoroughly entertaining and informative blog. Bill wrote about Firefox 3.5′s security vulnerability, the first person I saw do that. There is a patch, and if you’ve already upgraded, you should be at version 3.5.1. now instead of just 3.5.
As noted on today’s blog, it’s easy to upgrade Firefox to fix the hole.
Spread the word, and thanks, Bill!
